The Nassau Hall of the Princeton University, a beautiful sandstone building constructed in 1756, was treated with Protectosil® CHEM-TRETE® 40 VOC.
Protectosil® has been protecting buildings all over the world for over 30 years, including also the Louvre in Paris, France, one of the world's most popular museums. The inner courtyard and the sandstone benches are protected with Protectosil ANTIGRAFFITI® allowing easy removal of undesired graffiti.
Cleaning the windows takes several days. Accordingly, taping the windows and window frames prior to applying a surface protection agent on the facade would have cost considerable time and money. Because Protectosil® CHEM-TRETE® BSM 400 does not leave any residue on glass or metal, operators decided in favor of treating the building efficiently with Protectosil®.

Protectosil® products will not yellow, peel or fade, and they keep the building façade looking natural. By reducing the amount of water entering the substrate, Protectosil® products discourage the entry of water carrying contaminants such as salts and dirt, reducing deterioration caused by efflorescence, mildew, scaling, acid rain and spalling.
