Application Basics

Protectosil ANTIGRAFFITI® is a "ready to use" product and will be applied by using HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) equipment. For durable protection against Graffiti, more than one “coat” may be necessary. The previous “coat” should be dry to the touch before preceeding with the next one.The drying times required, vary between 10 to 60 minutes, depending on the substrate and the weather.

The number of “coats” and the amount of Protectosil ANTIGRAFFITI® required depends on the building material. In general porous building materials require more “coats” than more dense, finely-pored materials.

The temperature of both substrate and air should be between 5 °C and 40 °C during application. Protectosil ANTIGRAFFITI® should not be applied during rain or high winds if the substrate is not enclosed.

More information about applying Protectosil ANTIGRAFFITI® is contained in the Test Patches.
