Connecticut VOC Regulations Start May 1, 2008
The State of Connecticut volatile organic compound (VOC) regulation on Architectural, Industrial and Maintenance (AIM) Coatings” goes into effect May 1, 2008. The new limit for concrete and masonry water repellents is 400 grams per liter. Basically, this means no more solvent based products! - Protectosil® Chem-Trete® BSM 400 is an ultra pure 100% silane especially designed for brick masonry, concrete and most natural stone buildings. It can be applied at low temperatures (20o F), will not leave a residue on glass (no masking of windows) and comes with a 20 year warranty.
