Degussa Corporation, located in Parsippany, New Jersey, is a specialty chemicals company with major businesses dedicated to health and nutrition, construction chemicals, fine and industrial chemicals, performance chemicals, coatings and advanced fillers, and specialty polymers. The company owns and operates production facilities, R&D and applied technology centers throughout the NAFTA region. Degussa Corporation is the North American subsidiary of Degussa AG, headq uartered in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Degussa Corporation’s 400-acre Mobile production facility inside the Theodore Industrial Park includes 17 individual plants which produce a variety of chemicals used around the world. Located on-site, the Aerosil & Silanes business unit manufactures Protectosil^® building protection products which include: water repellents, antigraffiti coatings,  and organomodified corrosion inhibitors.

As a member of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), we are committe to operating our facility in a manner that preserves the environment and protects the health and safety of our employees and the community. As a result, we have fully implemented the ACC’s Responsible Care^® Codes of Management Practices and are heavily involved with civic organizations and public education. In addition, our production facilities are certified to the ISO 9002 standard or higher.
