Impregnation for surface protection against the ingress of water. Supply and application of an impregnation with water repellent function. Protection of mineral surfaces against the ingress of water and water soluble pollutants.

Properties:

  • Deeply penetrating impregnation based on a alkyltrialkoxysilane
  • Solvent free, highly resistant to alkaline environment
  • High reduction of water uptake
  • High reduction of chloride uptake
  • High water vapor permeability
  • Meets the requirements of EN 1504-2
  • Can be used according to principles 1, 2, 5, and 6 of EN 1504-9

 

Performance:

  • Penetration depth > 3 mm
  • Absorption coefficient AR < 7,5 percent (following EN 1504-2)
  • Absorption coefficient in alkaline media ARalk < 10 percent (following EN 1504-2)
  • Reduction of chloride uptake > 70 percent
  • Freeze-thaw resistance: reduced mass loss after 50 cycles
